چکیده

In this paper we show that every real-time system speciied in a certain subset of Duration Calculus 24] can be decomposed into an untimed system communicating with suitable timers. Both asynchronous and synchronous communication are considered.

Effects of Banking Facilities on Private Sector Investment, Given the Specifications of the Iranian Banking System

In this research, a model is designed to assess the effect of banking facilities over private sector investment. In this model, private investment is a function of non-oil GDP, and with a time lag, of import of capital goods, investment of public sector and the real facilities granted by the banking system to the private sector. The effects of the model indicate a meaningful effect of the ...

An Engineering Approach to Decomposing End-to-End Delays on a Distributed Real-Time System

In this paper we propose an adequate engineering technique for decomposing end-to-end delays in distributed real-time systems. Our technique greatly sim-pliies real-time system design process by turning a global distributed scheduling problem into a set of single processor scheduling problems with local deadlines. The deadline decomposition is done using critical scaling factor 4] as a schedula...

Decomposing Verification of Timed I/O Automata

This paper presents assume-guarantee style substitutivity results for the recently published timed I/O automaton modeling framework. These results are useful for decomposing verification of systems where the implementation and the specification are represented as timed I/O automata. We first present a theorem that is applicable in verification tasks in which system specifications express safety...

Approximating Idealised Real-Time Specifications Using Time Bands

Timed specifications are often formalised at an absolute level of precision, which does not reflect the real world that the specifications model, i.e., in the real world, inputs cannot be sampled with absolute precision and physical hardware cannot react instantaneously. As a result the developed specifications can often become unimplementable. In this paper, we consider the time bands model wh...

Introduction to the TOPPERS Project - Open Source RTOS for Embedded Systems

The TOPPERS Project is to develop a series of open source real-time operating systems (RTOS) for embedded systems. The TOPPERS/JSP Kernel, which is the first product of the project, was released two years ago and is started to be used in industries. A technological basis of the TOPPERS Project is the ITRON Specification, which is a de-facto standard real-time kernel specification widely applied...
